Tulsa, Okla. -- Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. announced the addition of the Thrifty Car Rental brand to its corporate operations in Philadelphia. The new Thrifty operation, located near the Philadelphia International Airport, will serve both airport customers as well as the local community.

"We are extremely pleased to add the Thrifty brand in Philadelphia," Jay Foley, Senior Executive Vice President - Corporate Operations, said. "DTG has operated the Dollar brand corporately at the Philadelphia International Airport since 1994. Adding the Thrifty brand will allow us to expand our customer base in Philadelphia and capture operating efficiencies in areas such as maintenance and fleet."

This greenfield opening represents yet another milestone in DTG's growth strategy that was announced in December 2002. Since that time, the Company has acquired 45 U.S. and Canadian airport markets and opened eight new Dollar or Thrifty greenfield locations, adding approximately 28,000 vehicles on an annualized basis to the company's rental fleet.
