Philadelphia -- ARAMARK Corporation announced that Lynn McKee has been appointed Executive Vice President, Human Resources. She will report to Bill Leonard, ARAMARK's President and Chief Executive Officer.
"For nearly 25 years, Lynn has made significant contributions in developing and strengthening our industry-leading Human Resources organization," said Leonard. "In particular, she has been instrumental in building outstanding leadership development programs that provide us with talented and skilled future leaders." Executive Chairman Joseph Neubauer added, "Lynn's promotion to this position is well-deserved and represents the next step in our succession plan. She is a natural leader and a perfect fit for this role. We look forward to her continued contributions at a global level as she assumes these new responsibilities that are critical to our ongoing success as a company."
McKee, 48, joined ARAMARK in 1980 and steadily advanced to positions of increasing responsibility. In 1998, McKee was named Vice President, Executive Development and Compensation. In that role, she significantly expanded the company's Executive Leadership Institute, which is considered a benchmark program among Fortune 500 companies.
In 2001, she was named Senior Vice President of Human Resources for the company's Food and Support Services Group. In that role, she was responsible for all Human Resources issues affecting the employees within the group, including leadership development, recruiting and labor and employee relations.
McKee assumed global responsibility as ARAMARK's Senior Vice President of Human Resources in January.
A graduate of St. Joseph's University, McKee's undergraduate degree is in business administration and she holds an MBA from Drexel University.
