Join HCI Training's CEO Mary Haskett and Chief Scientist Alex Kilpatrick, Ph.D., Tuesday, August 17, 2004 at the Society for Applied Learning Technology (SALT) Interactive Technologies Conference in Washington, DC, where they will be your life preserver in the choppy waters of training technology!
Ms. Haskett and Dr. Kilpatrick will present a 3.5 hour training session designed to help the complete tech novice gain a working knowledge of training technology, and understand how to put it to good use in your own programs.
"This course assumes no prior knowledge of training technology; if you understand the basics of training and instructional design, you have all you need to understand the material," Ms. Haskett explained.
To prevent participants from drowning in details, "the emphasis will be on practical applications of the technology and structured around a set of practical exercises where you will determine the best application of technology to a number of training scenarios, as well as your particular situation."
Deviations from the planned curriculum into other technology areas will be welcome and encouraged.
