Boston, Mass. -- Veritude, a provider of strategic human resources, has named Andrew Weissman Senior Vice President of Strategy and Product Development.
Weissman, who has a diverse background in information technology, venture capital and law, is responsible for formulating and implementing Veritude's long-term business and product strategy. Veritude provides staffing and technology services as well as workforce consulting.
"Andy brings to Veritude a wealth of entrepreneurial expertise and strategic thinking that will help propel Veritude to its next stage of development," says Veritude President and CEO Vin Cipolla. "Andy's proven ability to build companies while aligning business objectives with technology insights will be a tremendous addition to us."
Before joining Veritude, Weissman was founding partner and managing director of the Dawntreader Group, which grew a series of technology-focused venture capital funds. He also co-founded and served as CEO of Virtuosity Press, a company dedicated to making publishing operations more efficient; it was acquired by Booktech.com, a publicly traded print-on-demand technology company. Additionally, Weissman spent several years practicing media law for America Online, where he was senior counsel, and for firms in New York and Washington, DC.
