Nashua, N.H -- The Recruitment Process Outsourcing Alliance (RPO Alliance), a special interest group of the Human Resources Outsourcing Association (HROA) formed to address the growing need for unbiased, vendor-neutral information regarding the growing RPO industry, announced the election of its inaugural leadership team. The newly elected leadership team is:

  • Chairman - Jason Berkowitz - Co-founder, Vice President, Business Development, Hyrian
  • Vice-Chairman - Anne Nimke - Co-founder, President and COO, Pinstripe LLC
  • Treasurer - Teresa Spangler - VP Strategic Business Initiatives, Headway Corporate Resources
  • Secretary - Brandt Hamby - Executive Vice President, StraightSource
  • Member-at-Large - Ladd Richland - Co-founder, CEO, CRI Inc.
  • Director - Aimee Reynolds - Senior Vice President, Aon Consulting

With an estimated market size of $20 Billion dollars, Recruitment Process Outsourcing has been identified as “the biggest emerging opportunity in Human Resources Outsourcing” by Randall Mehl of Robert W. Baird & Co.

"The RPO Alliance is committed to addressing the needs of all constituencies in the RPO industry," said Jason Berkowitz, newly elected Chairman of the RPO Alliance, "The six member RPO Alliance leadership team represents a broad cross-section of our industry and ensures that our mission will be relevant to the entire RPO community."

Margaret Savage, Director of HR Strategy and Systems, British Telecom commented "Until now there has been a lack of information on RPO available for buyers. I’m happy that RPO now has a group dedicated to providing the research, data and tools required for all stakeholders in outsourcing decisions to make more informed choices when considering RPO. The RPO Alliance leadership team collectively represents some of the most forward-thinking people in the industry, and I have no doubt they will be integral in ensuring the RPO Alliance fulfills its mission."

The RPO Alliance recently launched an initiative to further define and quantify the informational needs of the RPO marketplace by surveying the thoughts, beliefs, attitudes and business drivers of buyers and users of RPO services. This survey of over 3,000 Human Resources and Recruitment Professionals will run through the end of September 2005, with results to be published in November 2005. In addition, the RPO Alliance has already fielded numerous buyer and prospective member inquiries from individuals and organization in the United States, U.K., France and Australia.

HROA Executive Director Michael Beygelman said, "The successful launch of the RPO Alliance underscores the HROA’s commitment to broadly represent the HR Outsourcing industry through vertically-focused special interests." Beygelman continued, "Today’s newly announced RPO Alliance leadership team constitutes RPO pioneers, who collectively will drive RPO Alliance activity that will benefit all RPO stakeholders."
