The future of successful US companies lies overseas; a new report published by Robert Trent, Ph.D., Robert Monczka, Ph.D., and Kenneth Peterson, Ph.D., states.
A sequel to a report published a few years back; the study shows the increasing trend of global sourcing as a key to efficiency, performance, and cost reduction. Join Robert Trent, coauthor of both reports, as he discusses the results of the soon to be released new study and compares the data with that of the first report to demonstrate the optimistic future in sourcing.
Robert Trent will present these results in a Honeycomb Connect Supply Chain Advanced Network (S.C.A.N.) web conference on December 7, 2006 from 11:00am – 12:00pm EST. Key discussion points include:
- Recognize the differences between international purchasing and global sourcing
- Compare and contrast the benefits realized from international purchasing and global sourcing
- Identify the factors that define global sourcing success
